Raoul & Suzanne, proprietors of Haus Standlgut, we live and work together with our 2 daughters as from 2022 in the beautiful Rauris Valley.
We have been passionate about the alpine landscape and all its sportive possibilities since childhood. Having spent many summers and winters away from the “mountain-less” Netherlands in the Alps enjoying the nature and mountain sports, skiing, hiking and climbing but most of all enjoying and relaxing in the amazing nature, we are now proud to call the alps our home.
The apartments and rooms of our house offer the option to be completely self-supporting. But we would love to see you also in our lounge, stube or garden to enjoy drinks or snacks to talk about your adventures of the day or to give you the hidden secrets of the valley for the next. Your kids may play outside safely in our garden perhaps with their newfound best friends.

The House
The historical Haus Standlgut originates from the year 1526 and has served many purposes during the gone centuries. the Haus has always been kept up to date with modern times, yet the Haus really breathes history with its massive structure of walls and vaults creating an opulent and warm atmosphere.
Our family friendly House is located quietly on the outskirts of Rauris within 5 minutes distance of the historical centre and the Ski lifts. The (ski)bus stops a few steps away from our front door and a variety of good restaurants are just a stone’s throw away.
The attractively furnished apartments and rooms are located on the first, second and third floor and can easily be combined if you are travelling with larger groups. The ground floor provides for the cosy traditional stube, the lounge and a large comfortable living room with reading table and the biggest couch you have ever seen.
Dogs are welcome, but only after prior registration and written confirmation from us. We charge costs for the overnight stay of the dog (maximum of 1 dog per accommodation and group / booking).
The holiday feeling
We invite you to join us here after a fantastic day in the surrounding valley, to settle yourself for a game, a book or to enjoy the company of the other guests. In the summer you may also wish to relax in our beautifully landscaped garden where there is always a spot to catch the sun and where children have ample space to play. Of course you are also free to use our Grill place and enjoy an evening outside.
Would you like to enjoy the ultimate holiday feel? Let us spoil you with good wines, drinks and a small snack from our house bar. We are happy to serve you or serve yourself at the “Honesty bar”. Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning or join one of the dinner evenings in high season.
Do not forget to take a look at "Extras” to see what is going on and which extras we offer. There is bound to be something nice for you.
Travel and location
Haus Standlgut is situated in the idyllic Rauris Valley embedded in the mountains of the Hohe Tauern. Our location on the outskirts of Rauris provides for an undisturbed stay, but you will reach the historical centre and ski lifts in just 5 minutes.
The (ski)bus stops in front of the house and various excellent restaurants are only a stone’s throw away. Standlgut is easily reached by car, you can conveniently park at our house free of any cost.
The Sazburg international airport can be reached by car in 70 minutes, you may rent a car at one of the rental car operators or take the train which brings you to the Taxenbach station in just over an hour. From Taxenbach you can take a bus or taxi to reach our house in just under half an hour.
Prefer the whole journey by train? That too is possible. With the international train there is a good connection to Taxenbach or Zell am See station. There, change to the local Taxi service and you will be dropped off in front of Haus Standlgut in 20 minutes or you can take the bus.
